I have wagered on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
