I have played millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
