I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
