I have wagered on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
